Wrekin & Telford Singers

We are a mixed voice choir based in Telford, Shropshire. We have been through many name and repertoire changes but we can trace our history back to October 1963 - when a group of singers led by Bryan Harper officially became known as the Wrekin Choral Society.

Keith Gardner, our musical director, keeps us on our toes by regularly adding new music to our repertoire. We are also ably supported by our multi-talented accompanist, Nykkö-Mickaël Grégoire.

Wrekin & Telford Singers are available to perform at any occasion, including weddings, dinners and anniversary celebrations. Our fee starts at £125 (depending on what we are asked to sing), and in return you will be entertained by live performances of light music. Visit our Book Us page for more information about booking us for your event. Our repertoire includes arrangements of contemporary music, songs from popular musicals and traditional music. Visit our Repertoire page to hear samples.

The choir is running a number of charity fund-raising events in 2015.
  • Nepal Earthquake Appeal fund-raising concert on Saturday 26th September at All Saints Church.
  • Coffee morning at Wellington Methodist Church 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday 10th October in support of Help for Heroes.
  • Annual Remembrance Concert on Saturday 14th November at Christ Church in support of Help for Heroes.

Visit our Concerts page to see and hear highlights from our previous concerts and to find out about our upcoming concerts.

Feel free to look at the rest of the web-site or e-mail us at choir@wtsingers.org.uk to find out more.   We practise at Hadley Methodist Church Schoolroom for two hours every Friday from 7:30 p.m., and anyone is welcome to visit and hopefully join in - no experience required. We know that you'll enjoy every minute of it, just like we do.
